History of the High Castle
20 years ago, the wolves and the humans lived in harmony. They were friendly to eachother, sharing territories and prey together. As these wolves can speak to humans, and humans can speak to wolves, they talked to each other in meetings every full moon and discussed their statuses. The Clans lived in harmony with the High Castle Forces.
But that was 20 years ago. That was before King Richard died of a mysterious infection in the throat. That was before his bitter and overly ambitious son, Prince Xanthus, became King Xanthus the IXth.
Since Xanthus' dark rise 20 years ago, the wolves and humans have been arch-enemies. Children have been raised in the High Castle territory believing their only true enemy are the wolf Clans. If they are taught any differently, King Xanthus would exile them out of his Kingdom.
